Ever wonder how a simple ball of yarn becomes a little friend? Here is a peek into my Delhi studio where every loop counts.

This is the head of a custom doll being held by my sweet nephew. It shows the beginning stages of a doll coming to life, even before the body is attached.

Here are the first completed parts of the Clara Doll. You can see the body and the large bow, all crocheted and ready for assembly.

These are some of the accessories and hair for the Setenay Doll. I often crochet all the small, detailed parts first before putting the whole doll together.

These are the separate parts of the platypus toy before I stitched them all together. You can see the head, body, arms, and feet, all created individually.

About Behind the Stitches: My Process

People often ask if my dolls are ready-made, but the truth is every single piece starts as separate parts. I crochet the limbs, head, and outfits individually before carefully sewing them together. This invisible joinery is why my dolls hold their shape so well even after lots of hugs.
