About Behind the Scenes: On-Site Management
People often ask if we design only from a desk, but the real work happens on the floor. Every site visit is where we cross-check material samples against actual site light conditions and align with the labor team on-site, catching errors before they become permanent. It is why we personally manage every project milestone, from the first markings on the wall to the final finishing touches.

A design on paper is a promise, but the construction site is where we keep it. For us at The Chhat Studio, site supervision is not just a checkbox; it is the most critical part of our workflow. Whether we are renovating a commercial office in Gurgaon or building a new home, we know that the difference between an average finish and a perfect one lies in the details that you only catch when you are standing in the room.
What Happens During Our Site Visits
- Material Verification: We compare laminates, paint swatches, and tile samples against the actual light and space of your room. What looks good in a studio can look different on-site, and we fix those mismatches before installation.
- Measuring Twice: We verify measurements against our 2D layouts and GFC drawings. If a wall is off by a few centimeters, we adjust the joinery drawings immediately so the furniture fits perfectly.
- Labor Coordination: We hold regular discussions with our labor teams to ensure the vision is clear. We explain the 'why' behind a design choice so the team on the ground understands the intent, not just the measurements.
- Problem Solving: Every site has surprises, like an unexpected beam or a drainage issue. We handle these challenges in real-time, making informed decisions that save time and keep the project budget on track.

We don't just deliver blueprints and walk away. Our design packages include scheduled site visits across Delhi NCR and beyond.
