We took our original, most-loved fudgy brownie recipe and transformed it into a full-sized celebration cake. It is dense, rich, and made with pure couverture chocolate, not a light sponge.

About this collection

If you are used to a light, airy sponge cake, be prepared for something much denser. Because we use real couverture chocolate and butter, these cakes have a significant, fudgy weight to them. Use the serrated knife we provide to cut small, thin slices, as a little goes a long way.

Real chocolate lovers know that a brownie is not a sponge cake. When we set out to make these signature brownie cakes, we decided to stick to our core philosophy: no compound chocolate, just pure 55% dark couverture. This gives our cakes a dense, fudgy texture that holds up well as a centrepiece for birthdays and anniversaries.

Unlike standard sponge cakes that rely on flour and air for volume, our brownie cakes rely on high-quality fat and cocoa. This results in a much richer, more satisfying slice. Since these cakes are dense, we recommend serving them in smaller portions compared to regular cakes.

To keep the texture perfect, we recommend storing them at room temperature for up to three days. If you need to keep them longer, a quick stint in the microwave will bring back that gooey center. Every cake comes with a heavy-duty box and a serrated knife, ensuring your dessert survives the trip from our Bangalore kitchen to your celebration table.
