My Journey as a Calligraphy Artist
Balancing numbers and art, I found my true calling in the deliberate beauty of hand-lettering. This is my story of rediscovery and The Bloom Letters.
I never imagined this would become my path. This journey has been about more than just learning an art form; it's been about finding myself and bringing people's emotions to life through personalized gifts.
Celebrating three incredible years of The Bloom Letters. This collage captures some moments from a live event, where I got to personalize these unique mugs for guests, including celebrities. Every project has been a chance to grow and create.
A look back at some of the beautiful projects from the last three years. From wedding invitations and personalized mugs to scroll favors, every piece represents a story I was privileged to be a part of. Thank you for being on this journey with me.
About My Journey as an Artist
People often ask how a Chartered Accountant ends up with a calligraphy pen in hand. It was not a career pivot, but a quiet reclamation of self during the chaos of motherhood. When you see a piece from me, you are not just getting engraving or paint, you are seeing the result of years spent refining a craft that values stillness, focus, and human connection over machine-made perfection.
My path began at a tiny desk, shifting from balancing sheets to balancing brushes. The Bloom Letters was born during a period when I needed to slow down, and I found that writing in English, Hindi, and Gujarati offered a calm I had never known before.
I believe there are no shortcuts in art. When I work on live event activations for brands like L'Oréal or Lenskart, or when I am in my studio hand-engraving a wine glass for a wedding, I am applying the same focus. Each piece requires a steady hand and a clear mind.
I handle various surfaces, from glass and crystal to leather and tech cases. Whether it is a corporate project in Mumbai or a personal gift for a milestone celebration, my process remains the same. I do not use digital tools or machines to fake the human touch. Every line, every floral stroke, and every engraved date is a reflection of the moment it was created.
My work is about capturing stories. Whether it is a perfume bottle for a birthday or an engraved tumbler for a wedding guest, my goal is to give you something that feels like it has a soul. If you are looking for an artist who values the quiet, meaningful details of your event, let us talk about how we can make your next occasion personal.
The Bloom Letters Studio
I am Kinjal, and I trade spreadsheets for paintbrushes to create pieces that hold meaning. My studio, The Bloom Letters, is where I turn moments into keepsakes using hand-engraving and brushwork. Every line I draw is a piece of my heart, shaped by my journey and my commitment to doing things the old, thoughtful way.
