I am Lipika, and I am so happy you are here. This is a look into how I turned a simple hobby into five years of handwritten magic.

Celebrating five years of Quill on Paper! From a novice with a hobby to an entrepreneur collaborating with over 35 brands, it has been an incredible journey. I am filled with immense gratitude for everyone who has been a part of my story.

This is me in my happy place: head bent, face scrunched in concentration, and my engraver in hand. This is the focus and passion I bring to every single on-site event and commissioned piece.

Marking four years of Quill on Paper! This past year was all about exploring, experimenting, and experiencing new challenges with every project. I am entering the next year with a heart full of gratitude and excitement.

I was honored to be a guest speaker for The Calligraphy Square's 'Rendezvous Series,' where I shared my journey, sources of inspiration, and experiences collaborating with brands on on-site projects.

Another shot from my feature with The Calligraphy Square. I love connecting with fellow artists and aspiring calligraphers, sharing insights into the business side of our creative industry.

It's always a pleasure to share my passion with others. Events like this allow me to reflect on my journey and help inspire others to pursue their own creative passions.

About this collection

People often see the finished engraved perfume bottle or the calligraphy on a wedding card, but they do not always see the work that happens behind the scenes. In my world, I am the artist, the accountant, the delivery person, and the one managing the bookings. It is a mix of gratitude, daily hustle, and the occasional bit of chaos that makes every project feel like a personal milestone.

It started back in 2020. I was 24, clutching a pen, and trying to figure out how to make a creative life work in the real world. Five years later, Quill on Paper has grown into something I never imagined. I have collaborated with over 35 brands, including names like Google, Jo Malone, and LinkedIn, but the real joy has been the 300 plus individual clients who have trusted me with their special moments.

My process is simple, raw, and entirely manual. Whether I am using an engraving drill to personalize a glass bottle or a brush pen for paper, I do not use stencils. Everything you see is written by hand. I have made a conscious choice to keep my craft authentic. When I work on your events, I am not just a vendor, I am there with you to ensure your guests have a memory to take home. I live in Bangalore but travel across India to work on-site, bringing my tools, my inks, and my passion for this craft to wherever you need me.
