About A World of Personalization
I use a rotary hand-drill to carve directly into materials like glass, metal, and acrylic. Because this is a manual process without any shortcuts or undo buttons, the engraving creates a tactile, permanent finish that has much more depth and character than standard laser etching.
Every piece I work on is an opportunity to slow down and create something that lasts. Unlike automated etching, the rotary drill allows me to adjust the depth and flow of the script in real time, making the text feel alive.
I work on a wide variety of surfaces including glass and crystal, where I often fill the engraving with gold or silver wax to make the names and dates pop. For leather and tech accessories like headphone cases, I use specialized techniques to ensure the personalization stays crisp without damaging the material.
