Newborn Photography Process and Studio Setup in Thane
Step inside my Thane studio to see how I create a warm, controlled space for your baby. I focus on gentle posing and safety to capture those first precious, sleepy moments.
A peek into my process. I am hands-on and gentle, always ensuring the baby is comfortable, safe, and even fed during the session. Your peace of mind is essential.
This video shows how I prepare for a shoot, selecting props and setting up the scene from my extensive collection of wraps, baskets, and blankets here in the studio.
From setting the scene to capturing the final shot, this video shows the care and attention that goes into creating each beautiful newborn portrait.
Watch how I safely and gently position a baby for the classic 'pot pose'. I take my time to ensure they are completely comfortable and sleepy.
About A Look Inside the Studio
In these sessions, my priority is maintaining a calm, temperature-controlled environment where your baby feels secure. I use only studio-provided wraps and props that are sanitized before every use, ensuring that every curled-up pose is achieved safely and with the utmost care for your little one.
When you visit my studio in Kalwa, Thane, the atmosphere is designed to mimic the comfort of the womb. Capturing a newborn photoshoot requires patience, which is why I always emphasize the 5 to 15-day window. During this brief period, babies are naturally sleepier and more flexible, allowing for those iconic, curled-up portraits without causing any discomfort.
The Setup Process
Each session starts with preparing the environment. Whether we are doing a classic prop setup or a cultural theme, I select fabrics and textures that are soft on delicate skin. You will see me layering materials and adjusting lighting to ensure the focus remains entirely on your baby’s expressions.
Safety First
My approach to newborn photography is rooted in safety. I am hands-on during every pose, ensuring the baby’s neck and back are fully supported at all times. If your baby needs a feeding break or a cuddle, we stop immediately. There is no rushing. The session pace is determined entirely by the baby’s comfort, not a clock.
What to Expect
When you arrive, everything is ready. You do not need to bring props or complex outfits, as the studio is stocked with everything from knitted rompers to bonnets. My goal is to make the experience stress-free for you, so you can sit back and watch your little one’s first professional portraits come to life in a controlled, hygienic space.
