About Creative & Themed Photoshoots
When we do themed shoots, I never compromise on safety for the sake of the setup. Whether it is a 'Little Krishna' scene with peacock feathers or a wizard-themed prop arrangement, your baby stays wrapped and supported in a specially designed studio bed. I take the time to set everything up perfectly before we even bring your baby into the frame, so the actual shooting process stays calm, quiet, and stress-free.
Themed newborn photography is all about the details. In my Kalwa studio, I maintain a collection of props specifically chosen for these sessions. When you choose a theme—like the popular Chota Krishna with authentic flute and peacock feather styling, or a magical Harry Potter setup—I prepare the environment before your session begins. This ensures that when you arrive, we are ready to move at your baby's pace.
Why Theme Planning Matters
Most of these setups are elaborate, involving specific textures and accessories. Because newborns need breaks for feeding and snuggles, a complex theme requires careful staging. My studio lighting is adjusted for each theme to ensure the skin tones remain natural and soft, even when we are using vibrant colors like the deep blues for Krishna or the festive reds for Christmas shoots.
Safety and Comfort
Safety is the foundation of my work. Every prop I use is curated for baby safety. For example, in 'Little Mahadev' or 'Krishna' shoots, props like the trishul or flute are placed safely around the baby, never in a way that risks their comfort. I focus on creating a relaxed atmosphere where you, as parents, feel comfortable and present.
Booking Your Theme
If you have a specific cultural theme like 'Maatrutva' (Motherhood) or something unique in mind, let me know when you book. I prefer to discuss your color preferences and prop requirements during our pre-shoot consultation. Remember, the best window for these newborn shoots remains 5 to 15 days old, when babies are naturally sleepy and most comfortable in these wrapped poses.
