About Welcome, Little One: Newborn & Family
If you are planning a newborn shoot, the 5 to 15 day window is crucial for the best results. This is when babies are naturally sleepier and more comfortable in those peaceful, curled-up positions that make for classic newborn portraits. I always recommend booking ahead so we can secure a date that aligns with these early days.
My studio in Kalwa, Thane is purpose-built for newborn safety and comfort. Because these sessions rely on your baby's natural state, I keep the environment calm, warm, and quiet. Whether you are looking for a solo portrait of your baby or a family photo that includes parents and siblings, the goal is always to capture that fleeting sense of innocence.
Safety is my priority, which means I allow plenty of time for feedings, soothing, and diaper changes during our session. We are not rushing to get a shot; we are waiting for the baby to be settled and comfortable. My focus is on gentle posing and soft lighting that highlights your newborn’s features without harsh effects. If you have a specific family keepsake, blanket, or heirloom you would like to include in the frame, please bring it along. It makes the portraits feel more personal and tells your unique family story.
