Inside My Thane Photography Studio
Curious about what to expect? Take a look at how I work with couples and families in my Kalwa studio to create natural, relaxed portraits.
This short video shows a behind the scenes look at a couple's maternity shoot in my studio. You can see how I guide my clients into natural, intimate poses to capture authentic moments of connection.
About Behind the Scenes at the Studio
My studio in Kalwa is not just about the backdrops; it is about the guidance. In the video, you can see me directing a couple—this is standard in every session. I focus on gentle prompts rather than rigid posing, so you feel comfortable and relaxed, letting the real connection between you and your partner come through in the photos.
A photoshoot can feel intimidating if you are not used to being in front of a camera. That is why I keep my studio in Kalwa, Thane, as a private, relaxed space. Whether we are doing a maternity gown shoot or a traditional 'Maatrutva' session, my goal is the same: to remove the pressure of performing.
When you arrive, we do not start with heavy posing. We start with conversation. I have an assistant on hand for things like fabric tosses or adjusting gowns, so you do not have to worry about the logistics. For maternity sessions, I provide a range of outfits from my studio closet, so you only need to bring yourself.
My process is built on being a guide rather than a director. I will tell you where to stand and how to lean, but the expressions and the emotions? Those come from you. This is how we get those soft, candid moments that look natural rather than stiff. If you are curious about specific themes, whether it is a minimalist look or a heavy traditional setup, we can discuss how to make it comfortable for you.
