About The Experience: Behind the Scenes
Most people worry about how to pose, but here is the secret: my best shots happen when you forget I am even there. In my Lower Parel studio, I don't just click buttons; I spend the first part of every session just chatting, adjusting the fabric draping, and getting you comfortable so that the final images look like genuine moments rather than staged portraits.
What Happens Behind the Lens
When you see a stunning, artistic maternity portrait, you are seeing the result of a creative process, not just a camera click. My work in Mumbai is built on the belief that the photoshoot itself should be a core memory.
The Studio Experience
My Lower Parel space is designed to be your private sanctuary. When you walk in, we don't start by freezing into poses. We start by relaxing. I handle the fabric draping personally, wrapping and pinning materials to create that elegant, flowing silhouette without needing a complex wardrobe fitting. Whether we are doing a classic black-and-white portrait or a light-painting experiment, the setup is all about light, shadow, and your unique personality.
Beyond the Posing
I am not a fan of stiff, rigid instructions. If you are worried about looking awkward, don't be. My job is to guide you into natural movements—walking, laughing, or just looking at your partner—while I capture the raw emotion. I often use music, conversation, or even a bit of silly humor to break the tension.
Collaboration
Every session is collaborative. You might see a reel of me holding a reflector, moving lights, or draping fabric, but that is the technical side of making you look your best. The real magic is in the trust we build during those two or three hours in the studio or out in the garden. By the time we are done, most clients tell me they felt more like they were hanging out with a friend than being photographed. Let's create something real together.
