Commercial spaces often fail when they rely on uniform, flat lighting. In my hospitality projects, I focus on layerable light. I use focused spots to highlight specific products or tables while keeping ambient levels soft to encourage longer stays. It is about balancing the technical requirement of lux levels with the emotional pull of a space that feels personally tailored, not just illuminated.
