About Coastal & River Journeys
Capturing water from the air requires patience because you have to wait for the light to hit the surface just right or for a boat to cut through the water to create that perfect wake. I handle all the flight logistics, DGCA certifications, and editing so you get cinematic footage where the water feels alive and peaceful.
My work focuses on the intersection of water and land. Whether I am shooting the Vashishti River at sunset or the mangrove forests of Khavane Beach, my goal is to document the soul of the river or the coast rather than just recording a geographic location.
I treat my drone as a creative tool, using 4K slow motion to emphasize the texture of the waves and top-down angles to show how rivers carve their way through the landscape. When shooting in places like the backwaters of Kerala or the harbors in Kochi, I plan my flights around the golden hours to ensure the dynamic range of the water captures those vibrant reflections.
I use the DJI Mavic 3 and shoot in D-Log M color profiles. This technical approach allows me to recover details in the shadows and highlights, giving you a final product that looks as natural as the view from a mountain peak. If you have a specific coastal project, an island property, or a river-based travel documentary in mind, I am ready to travel anywhere in India to capture it.
