Why I Shoot From Above
For me, peace comes from places like the mountains, not from crowded clubs or cafes. Sometimes, jeevan kathin ho jata hai, lagta hai pahadon ke peeche jaana chahiye (life gets tough, feels like it's time to escape to the mountains). My aerial work tries to bottle that feeling - fleeting moments of calm and awe, seen from up high.
What I Capture
- Landscapes: My heart belongs to the Himalayas, Ladakh, Spiti, the Sahyadris - drone mountain landscape filming is my thing. Coasts, waterfalls, forts, tea gardens, rivers. I've shot Ha Long Bay in Vietnam and the backwaters of Kerala too.
- Events & Culture: I chase the chaos and beauty. Cinematic aerial event coverage means flying during festivals like Holi in Nandgaon, getting shots in crowded places alongside other drones, and capturing ancient temples and monasteries from new angles.
- Cities: I love showing the city’s pulse - urban drone hyperlapse photography in Mumbai, patterns of ghat roads, dams, bridges, and that classic Queen’s Necklace view at night.
How I Work
I’m a DGCA certified drone operator, so safety and legality are sorted. I use pro-level gear like the DJI Mavic 3, shoot in D-Log for colour grading, and handle all editing myself with Premiere Pro. I want every frame to tell a story, not just look pretty.
My Journey
Mumbai is home, but my camera goes wherever the story leads - Western Ghats, Rajasthan, Kerala, Vietnam. I believe, yatra ka pura anand lena chahiye (one should enjoy the whole journey). If your project needs a fresh perspective, I’m always ready to travel.
