Coastal & Island Aerial Videography
I take my drone everywhere, from the turquoise waters of Lakshadweep to the quiet backwaters of Kashmir. If you need cinematic aerial footage of your coastal resort or island project, let's fly.
This is the kind of view that makes it all worth it. An aerial shot of the Agatti Island airstrip in Lakshadweep, a narrow strip surrounded by breathtaking turquoise waters. Capturing this unique perspective required precise drone piloting to showcase the contrast between the man-made runway and the pristine natural beauty of the archipelago.
Another perspective of the Agatti Island runway in Lakshadweep, this time showing the deep blue ocean on one side and the calm, shallow lagoon on the other. This shot emphasizes the isolation and stunning geography of the island.
A peaceful moment on Dal Lake in Kashmir. I used my drone to follow this Shikara boat, highlighting the vibrant green of the floating vegetation against the deep blue water. This kind of aerial destination videography captures the serene beauty and unique culture of a place.
An artistic top down drone shot of a person standing on the shoreline in Goa. The contrast between the dark, wet sand, the white foam of the waves, and the lone figure creates a powerful and contemplative image.
Following a private yacht as it cruises through the waters of Goa. This smooth tracking shot captures the feeling of luxury and freedom, making it ideal for tourism promotions or private charter advertisements.
About Coastal & Island Escapes
Shooting near water needs extra focus, especially with lens spray and salt air. I use the DJI Mavic 3 for stable, high-altitude landscape shots, and swap to FPV drones for low-level chase sequences near boats or shoreline activity. You get raw 5.1K footage transferred on-site, so you have everything immediately for your own post-production or editing team.
When you shoot by the ocean, the perspective changes everything. A standard ground shot of a beach doesn't show the scale of the reefs or the way the tide moves around the island. Whether it is an island resort in Lakshadweep or a yacht in Goa, I use aerial angles to reveal the full context of the location.
My Approach to Coastal Cinematography
- Gear Selection: I carry both GPS-stabilized drones (Mavic 3) and FPV drones. The Mavic handles the wide, smooth establishing shots at golden hour. For dynamic sequences—like following a boat or diving toward the water—I use the FPV setup to get that alag hi feel (totally different feel) which standard drones can't touch.
- Working with Water: Salt air and mist are real, so I prep my gear for every flight. I deliver unedited 5.1K or 4K Log footage (D-Log) directly to your drive on-site. This gives your colorist maximum dynamic range to work with when editing.
- Logistics: I am based in Delhi but travel across India for projects. You handle the location permissions; I bring the tech and the vision. Whether you are marketing a luxury property, filming a travel documentary, or just want high-end content for your brand, I work solo to keep the shoot agile and fast.
