Miscellaneous Frames: Experimental Slices of Life

My viewfinder finds poetry in the random, the unhinged, and the everyday. These frames are my visual notes and quiet moments that do not fit into a tidy box.

I call these 'chatterbox corners'. A candid moment on a stoop, where conversations flow and life happens out in the open. It’s these unposed, real interactions that I love to find and frame.

A collage of fading corners, from a bright pink fabric to a weathered wooden door and stone steps.

The beauty in ruins. A self-portrait sitting on the steps of a rustic old shop, finding a moment of peace in the chaos.

My eyes observe, my viewfinder translates. A trend video showing the before and after of what I see versus the final photograph I create.

A digital detox in Pondicherry, featuring an outdoor shower surrounded by banana leaves.

Kayaking on the backwaters of Pondicherry, a moment of pure escape and tranquility.

A Pondicherry sunset over the water, captured while sketching for the first time in ages.

A unique outdoor sink carved from a large rock, part of a serene resort experience near Pondicherry.

A view from a golf cart at a resort, looking out onto a wooden pier on the backwaters.

Soaking in the sun at a resort in Pondicherry, a moment of complete relaxation.

About Miscellaneous Frames

My process here is less about polished perfection and more about the raw feeling of a moment. Whether it is a quiet cafe corner or a quick sketch by the backwaters, I use a mix of digital captures and analog-style collages to document the unscripted parts of my creative journey.

This cluster acts as my personal digital scrapbook. It is where I store the images that do not belong to a specific series or theme but still hold a piece of my heart. You will find a blend of high-end mobile photography and layered digital collages here, capturing everything from the serenity of a Pondicherry morning to the chaotic joy of a local park picnic.

Why do I shoot this way? Because I believe life is lived in the gaps between the big events. I use techniques like geometric framing and textured layers to turn simple observations into stories. Some of these frames were taken on the move with just my phone, while others involved a bit more planning, but all of them share my 'maximalism core' aesthetic.

If you are looking for photography that captures a 'slice of life' vibe rather than a stiff, posed production, we will likely get along well. I often combine these images with hand-drawn sketches or typography, treating the final frame as a piece of mixed media art. Browse through these notes and if you feel a connection to any of these moments, let us talk about capturing your own version of these daily colors.

I'm Ruchit, and I believe the best frames are found by accident. When I am not hunting for stories in Mumbai’s chaos, I am usually sketching or wandering somewhere new, always keeping my camera ready to document the messy, beautiful reality of it all.
