Experimental and Abstract Photography Portfolio
A collection of my creative experiments, abstract perspectives, and compositions that explore the mood behind the lens.
A minimalist and symmetrical composition of the sun setting behind a large tent, with a lone security guard seated, edited with a dramatic orange and black contrast.
The same sunset scene behind a tent, this time edited with a soft, pink sky, creating a completely different mood.
A surreal, color-shifted version of the sunset scene, with the sky turned a bright, unnatural turquoise.
Another color variation of the sunset scene, with the sky edited to a solid blue, highlighting the shape of the sun.
A final, vibrant edit of the sunset scene, with the sky rendered in a shocking, solid pink.
A close-up, top-down drone shot of a pond covered in green and pink lily pads, creating a beautiful abstract pattern.
A zoomed-out aerial view reveals the full extent of the lily pad-covered pond, located next to a road and building.
About Additional Work
You will notice that I treat editing as a creative tool rather than just a cleanup step. Whether it involves shifting a standard sunset into a surreal turquoise sky or finding geometric patterns in nature from above, I believe the final image should reflect the mood of the moment rather than just providing a literal record.
This portfolio represents my technical experiments and artistic curiosity. When I am not shooting commercial projects, I am often pushing my editing software to its limits to see how color and contrast can completely alter the narrative of a single scene.
My Approach to Creative Photography
- The Power of Post-Production: Take the sunset series featured here. By applying different grading techniques, I transformed a single moment into five distinct visual moods, from deep orange drama to soft pink tranquility. This shows that the final look is as much about the process as it is about the capture.
- Finding the Abstract: My drone work is not limited to wide-angle cityscapes. I look for textures and natural patterns, like the lily pads seen in these shots, to create compositions that feel like abstract art. These pieces require a different eye, focusing on geometry and repetition rather than typical landscape subjects.
- Collaborative Vision: If you have a project that requires a non-traditional approach, I am interested in discussing your ideas. My focus is on storytelling through visuals, and I am always open to exploring new styles that fall outside standard photography categories.

I look for the story in the chaos, whether that is the symmetry of a rooftop or the way light hits a quiet corner. I am always trying new techniques, from abstract drone angles to experimental color grading. If you have a project that needs a fresh perspective, I am interested in hearing about it.
