Junior Tennis Development Program in Mumbai
We build competitive players from the ground up. Our program focuses on the technical precision and mental discipline required to dominate on the court.
Here is a glimpse into a training session with our junior advanced players. We focus on building a strong technical foundation, from serve mechanics to groundstroke consistency, preparing them for the demands of competitive tennis.
A young player executes a forehand with perfect form while her coach observes. We provide close, technical supervision to ensure our junior athletes develop the right habits from the very beginning.
I believe in leading by example. Here, I demonstrate the correct forehand technique to a group of young players, showing them the body mechanics required to hit a clean, powerful shot.
A young athlete practices her volleys at the net. Our drills emphasize quick reactions and precise racket control, essential skills for dominating the front of the court.
A junior player works on his approach shot during a drill. We teach our students not just how to hit the ball, but how to construct points and move with purpose on the court.
Focus and determination on display as a young player connects with the ball at the net. We cultivate a training environment where every player is engaged and working to improve.

About this collection
When we work on your forehand, we don't just look at your arm swing. We look at your hip rotation, your kinetic chain, and how you space your non-dominant hand. If those fundamentals are weak, your shot will collapse the second you face a high-pressure point. We strip the game back to these basics so you can build real, repeatable power.
Building Competitive Habits
Tennis is 80% legs. At our academy, we don't just rally for hours. We focus on specific technical correction and tennis-specific fitness. Whether you are training at our Santacruz or Matunga locations, the expectation is the same: you show up to work. We spend 30 to 40 minutes on court-specific fitness drills—agility ladders, shadow shuffling, and explosive leg movements—before we even touch a racket for tactical drills.
Our Junior Curriculum
We believe in developing the complete player, not just someone who can hit a ball over the net. Our sessions cover:
- Stroke Mechanics: We fix your hip drive and wrist lag. If you aren't using your body, you aren't hitting the ball properly.
- Pattern Play: Learning how to construct points, not just playing reactive tennis.
- Mental Conditioning: We simulate tournament pressure. You learn how to stay calm, execute your 'phatka' under stress, and handle the mental fatigue that comes with competitive matches.
- Equipment Audit: We guide you on everything from string tension to racket customization because your gear must match your playing style.
We keep our squad sizes small with a 1:4 or 1:5 coach-student ratio. This ensures you get the attention you need to fix your biomechanics, not just 'get through' the hour. This program is for juniors who are serious about playing tournaments and want a coach who will be honest about what it takes to win.
Tennace Academy
I’m Vanshal, and at Tennace Academy, we view tennis as a discipline rather than a hobby. Whether you are at our Santacruz or Matunga locations, we focus on the mechanics of your swing and the strength of your mind. We are here to prepare you for the tournament circuit, not to babysit.
