About Festivals & Sundowners
Playing an open-air festival or a beach sundowner is about the arc of the light. I start my sets with melodic, progressive house to catch that sunset golden hour, then gradually pull the crowd into deeper, hypnotic techno as the night takes over. If your venue has a specific vibe, I will shape the sound to fit, provided we have the right industry-standard CDJ setup to keep the music transitions seamless.
My Approach to Open-Air Sets
When I perform at a festival or a sundowner, the environment dictates the tempo. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all playlists. My sets are designed to evolve with the setting sun. I focus on progressive house and melodic techno that builds a sonic journey, moving from lighter, atmospheric beats during the day to darker, driving techno as night falls.
Where I Play
I have performed at major stages like Echoes of Earth, where the natural acoustics of a forest setting influence how I layer my tracks. In Goa, at venues like Dubki, I adapt to the coastal breeze and the specific energy of a beachside party. I am comfortable handling everything from small, intimate sundowner gatherings to large-scale festival stages where technical precision is non-negotiable.
Technical Requirements
To maintain the harmonic structure of my sets, I require an industry-standard setup (2x Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 and 1x DJM 900NXS2 Mixer). I do not play commercial Top 40 or Bollywood tracks, as I stick strictly to my genre focus: Progressive House, Melodic Techno, and Deep Minimal.
