About The Sound of Tears of Wizard
This is the raw, unpolished side of my sound. When you listen to my Darktape series, you get exactly what I bring to the booth: hypnotic, bass-heavy techno designed for late-night movement. Whether you want this specific underground vibe for a private house session or a club takeover, we start with the music and build the atmosphere from there.
If you have listened to 'Recursion' from my Darktape series, you know the direction: hypnotic, driving techno that keeps the room moving. I do not just play tracks. I build a sonic narrative, moving from lower BPM warm-ups to high-energy peak time sets.
The aesthetic is just as important as the audio. My branding involves high-res visual loops that I sync to the set, turning a standard performance into an immersive experience. If you are hiring me for a club gig, ensure the venue has the industry standard setup. My sets require 2x Pioneer CDJ 2000NXS2 or 3000 and a DJM 900NXS2 mixer. This setup allows me to use 3 to 4 deck layers to live-remix tracks on the fly.
For private events or house parties, I bring my own controller setup, provided you have a stable table and a solid sound system ready. I do not take requests during the set. The harmonic structure of my progressive and minimal techno sets is carefully layered, and interruptions break that flow. We keep it strictly about the music, the energy, and the vibe.
