About Festival & Major Event Circuit
Playing a festival stage isn't just about the tracklist, it’s about reading a massive crowd and managing energy over a 90 to 120-minute set. Whether it’s a sunrise slot or a peak-time slot, I focus on precise technical execution, utilizing 3 to 4-deck mixing and on-the-fly remixing to keep the dancefloor locked in.
There is a distinct difference between playing a club night and controlling a festival stage. Festivals require a different approach to sound design and energy management. When you book me for a major event, you aren't just getting a playlist; you are getting a curated journey designed for large-scale sound systems.
My sets are built around the 'Festival Flow.' I start by analyzing the stage positioning, the expected peak time of the audience, and the technical setup. My technical rider is straightforward because I focus on performance standards like the Pioneer CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 setup to ensure seamless transitions.
During high-intensity slots at venues like Sunburn or Mandala, I prioritize layered mixing. Instead of standard beat-matching, I build tension using loops and FX, ensuring that the transition from a Deep Tech warm-up to a Hard Techno peak is natural. If you are hosting a festival, an outdoor event, or a large-scale corporate gathering, I bring the same rigor I use in my studio masterclasses to the stage. I come prepared with a library that includes original tracks from Techtonic Records, unreleased IDs, and a deep knowledge of how to manage crowd stamina over multi-hour sets.
