When I’m spinning in Goa, the setup makes the difference. I focus on raw, high-fidelity sound that cuts through the beach air, relying on CDJ setups at spots like Vortex and Rockwaves. I bring a hand-picked digital library, but I always work with the venue's gear to keep the flow seamless. Whether you need a warm-up or a three-hour journey into deep tech, I build the energy specifically for the space, moving from deep, trippy warm-ups to driving techno that keeps the crowd moving until sunrise.
My Approach to Goa Beach Gigs
Goa is a different beast. Playing at venues like Vortex or Rockwaves requires a specific energy. It isn't just about playing tracks; it is about reading the room as the sun comes up or as the tide rolls in. My sets focus on that transition from deep rominimal to peak-time techno.
What to expect when booking me:
- Genre Focus: I stick to Minimal, Tech House, and Techno. You won't find commercial or Bollywood remixes here. It is about keeping the vibe locked in.
- Extended Journeys: If the venue allows, I love playing 3-4 hour sets. This gives me the space to take the dancefloor on a narrative journey, starting slow and building into heavy, hypnotic grooves.
- Technical Needs: I am a stickler for good audio. I require a professional club setup (CDJs and a high-end mixer) and monitor speakers that can handle the frequency range of my music. This ensures the sound hits you in the chest the way it is supposed to.
- Hospitality: Playing extended sets is demanding. Just ensure I have easy access to water and mixers so I can stay focused on the decks.
