Advanced Kickboxing & Martial Arts Technique
Real martial arts training is about precision and discipline. From perfecting your Ura Mawashi Geri to mastering heavy bag combinations, this is where we build the technique that makes a fighter.
A demonstration of the precision and control required for advanced kicks like the Ura Mawashi Geri and Yoko Geri. My personal training focuses on perfecting these techniques for both power and accuracy.
Here I am working on kickboxing combinations on the heavy bag. This type of high-intensity training is a fantastic way to build cardiovascular endurance, burn fat, and sharpen your striking skills.
Safety and proper technique are non-negotiable. This video provides a quick tutorial on how to wrap your hands correctly before any boxing or kickboxing session to protect your wrists and knuckles from injury.
About Advanced Kickboxing & Martial Arts Technique
You do not just walk in and start throwing punches. Before we hit the heavy bags, you learn the foundational science of a strike: how to generate power from the hips, how to maintain balance, and most importantly, how to wrap your hands to prevent injury. Whether you are aiming for national-level competition or just need a serious, sweat-drenched workout, the technique comes first.
Building the Fighter’s Foundation
Martial arts is not about looking tough. It is about understanding your own body and how to use it efficiently. In our advanced kickboxing and karate sessions at our Bunder Road and Azad Nagar dojos, we strip away the fluff. We focus on proper stance, explosive hip movement, and the exact contact points needed for a clean strike.
Why Technique Matters
- Safety First: You will learn to protect yourself before you learn to strike. This includes proper hand wrapping techniques and understanding how to maintain joint health while throwing high-impact kicks.
- Efficiency: Whether it is a Yoko Geri or a standard jab-cross combination, efficiency is king. We train you to conserve energy, striking with precision rather than wild force.
- Conditioning: These advanced drills are designed to build cardiovascular endurance and functional strength. You are not just learning a kick; you are performing a full-body workout that builds agility and core stability.
What to Expect in Training
My coaching style is strict. We use traditional Shotokan karate principles mixed with modern kickboxing drills on heavy bags. We keep the environment rugged, the focus sharp, and the expectations high. If you are looking for an air-conditioned gym where you can casually exercise, this is not it. This is for students who want to develop the discipline of a martial artist and the conditioning of a competitor.
We work on everything from basic striking accuracy to complex combinations that will test your coordination. My goal is to ensure that by the time you leave the dojo, you move differently, think differently, and carry yourself with the confidence that comes from real, hard-earned skill.
