Homemade Indian Sweets and Snacks
Need a little treat or a crunchy snack? I make everything from classic Gajar ka Halwa to my own version of Naga-style doughnuts, all from scratch in my kitchen.
Winter isn't complete without a bowl of my homemade Gajar ka Halwa. This classic Indian dessert is made by slow-cooking grated carrots with ghee, milk, and sugar, and garnished with cashews.
My attempt at making traditional Naga Doughnuts. They might not be perfectly shaped, but they are incredibly crunchy and satisfying, just like the ones I used to eat back home.
About Homemade Sweets & Snacks
Everything here is made to order in small batches. When you crave my Gajar ka Halwa or those crunchy Naga-style doughnuts, I start the prep from scratch in my kitchen. Because I avoid preservatives and commercial shortcuts, please give me a heads up so I can get your order ready fresh.
My kitchen is all about nostalgic flavours. The Gajar ka Halwa is a winter classic for me, slow-cooked with ghee, milk, and plenty of patience until it gets that perfect deep orange colour and rich taste. It is simple, honest, and tastes like what I grew up eating.
Then there are my Naga-style doughnuts. These are not your typical bakery donuts. I grew up eating the local version back home and could not find anything similar here in Bengaluru. They have that satisfying crunch and texture that I crave. They might not always look like they came from a commercial machine, but the taste is exactly what I remember.
Since I do not have a ready stock, everything you see is made only when you order it. This ensures you get the freshest batch, whether you are planning a small tea party or just want to treat yourself to some traditional Indian sweets and snacks.
