About Wholesome Vegetarian Dishes
Everything I cook is made to order, so you will need to pre-order to get that fresh, homemade taste. I do not use any artificial colors or preservatives, just real spices and the freshest veggies I can find, often straight from my mom's kitchen garden. Whether you are looking for a simple, healthy Naga-style boiled side or a comforting paneer gravy, I want it to taste exactly like a meal cooked at home.
My vegetarian cooking is all about balance. I love mixing the familiar comfort of desi khana with the distinct, healthy flavours I grew up with in the North-East.
You will often see me preparing simple, light sides like bitter gourd (karela) with bamboo shoots or boiled seasonal greens. These are staples in Naga cuisine—light, clean, and packed with flavour without being heavy on oil. I treat these ingredients with care, making sure the bamboo shoot adds just the right amount of tang and zest.
For those days when you crave something heartier, my Paneer Chilly or various veg curries do the trick. I take the same no-shortcuts approach here: fresh bell peppers, real spices, and zero synthetic colours.
- Why pre-order? Since I do not stock ready-made food, pre-ordering helps me get the freshest ingredients. It means I can time the cooking so your meal arrives fresh and exactly how it is meant to be eaten.
- Ingredients matter: I prioritize organic, homegrown produce from my mom’s garden whenever the season allows. You will taste the difference in the freshness of the greens and the quality of the vegetables.
- Menu variations: While I love my staples, I am always experimenting. If you have a specific craving or want to try something a bit different, like a North-East style vegetarian thali, just ask.
