A prayer space should be peaceful, not cluttered. I build modern mandirs that blend into your home, using clever lighting and space-saving designs to create a calm corner for your daily routine.

A moment of peace admiring a completed mandir. This design features a clean, white arched niche with an Om mandala, a marble top, and a pendant light, creating a serene and modern prayer space.

This custom mandir features beautiful jali doors that are backlit, creating a warm and divine glow. The design provides an elegant way to house religious idols while complementing the home's modern interior.

A modern, minimalist mandir design. This floating unit features a textured, arched panel with integrated backlighting, creating a divine aura without taking up floor space.

A mandir during the finishing stages. The jali doors are being installed, and you can see the backlit onyx-style panel inside which will create a beautiful, warm glow when finished.

This corner mandir features folding jali doors that open up to reveal a beautifully lit inner sanctum. It's a perfect solution for creating a dedicated prayer space within a larger room.

About this collection

When I build a mandir, the lighting is just as important as the structure. I use warm, hidden LED profiles behind stone or jali panels to create a glow without any exposed wires. It turns a simple unit into a calm space for reflection while ensuring the design stays clean and dust-free.

A prayer space in a modern apartment needs to be smart. I focus on three things: airflow, lighting, and storage. For smaller homes in areas like Noida or Faridabad, I often use wall-mounted or floating units to keep the floor clear. If you have the room, we can do floor-to-ceiling designs with sliding jali doors that hide the space when not in use.

Lighting is crucial. I avoid harsh lights, opting instead for backlighting behind onyx-style panels or soft profile lights that highlight the textures of the stone or wood. Whether you need a simple niche for idols or a large unit with dedicated storage for prayer books and lamps, I build it to last. I am on-site during the entire process, checking the electrical points and panel finishes myself before we hand it over. If you want a space that feels personal and high-quality, let us build it.
