People often forget that a great bathroom is 80% plumbing and waterproofing integrity before the tiles even go on. I make sure we get the slope and drainage right during my site visits, so your space stays dry and functional while looking like a hotel washroom.
When I work on bathrooms, I focus on the 'hidden' work first. Everyone looks at the vanity or the marble finish, but I’m checking for waterproof integrity and proper slope during every site visit in Noida, Gurugram, or Delhi. If the drainage isn't perfect, even the most expensive tile won't save the space.
I prefer using large-format tiles because they reduce grout lines, which makes the washroom feel bigger and much easier to maintain. Whether it's the moody drama of black terrazzo or the soft, earthy feel of travertine, the choice of material is crucial for the overall vibe.
Design is also about the daily habits. I plan for specific 'wet' and 'dry' zones. A backlit niche for your daily essentials, the right height for the shower, and clean, handleless storage—these are the details that turn a standard room into a luxury retreat. I don't just pick fixtures; I ensure brands like Grohe are installed with precision.
