About Modern Kurti & Trouser Sets
I finish every kurti set with a soft, double-washed cotton lining and add deep side pockets to the trousers, so you get the traditional feel of your old saree with the convenience of modern, everyday wear.
Every project begins with a look at the fabric. We can design spaghetti straps, sleeveless tops, or classic straight cuts depending on your comfort level. I use 3.5 to 4 meters of quality lining for each piece, ensuring your new outfit is breathable and opaque. The pants come with a flat front and elasticated back for a perfect fit, plus those hidden pockets I know you will appreciate.
I work directly with your fabric's specific weight. If it is a heavy silk, we ensure the structure holds its shape. If it is a lighter fabric, we focus on the flow. My studio in Jayanagar is appointment-only because I need that time to focus entirely on your specific saree and your ideas. We do not rush the process, and we focus on the small details like invisible zips and handmade tassels that make a garment feel finished. Whether you want to reuse the original border at the hem or create a fresh look with a contrast dupatta, we will work together to ensure your memories stay alive while the style evolves.
