Stop panicking, start reacting. I teach practical survival skills, ground defense, and mental fitness for real-life threats.

This is a critical ground defense scenario, especially vital for women. When an attacker has you on the ground, panic is the enemy. I teach you to use your legs, heels, and core as powerful tools to create distance and strike vital points, giving you the moment you need to escape. This is about mental fitness and survival, not strength.

Here I am conducting a self-defense workshop for a corporate client on International Women's Day. We cover real-world situations that employees may face, from ground attacks to disarming armed threats, empowering them with the confidence and skills to stay safe.

An attack from behind is a common street threat. In this demonstration, I show how to use an attacker's momentum against them. The key is to stay calm, drop your center of gravity, and use leverage to break the hold and create an opportunity to escape.

When facing a knife, the first rule is to get out of the line of attack. This video demonstrates how to deflect a forward thrust, control the weapon arm, and create an opening to disarm or disable the attacker. These are not fancy moves; they are practical survival reactions.

This is my training academy, a safe and fully equipped space for learning. We have matted floors for safety during drills and all the necessary equipment, like this punching bag, for effective strength and conditioning.

The Taekwondo push kick, or 'Mireo Chagi', is a simple but highly effective self-defense tool. It is used to create distance from an attacker, targeting their center mass to push them back and give you time to run. Here, I am teaching this fundamental kick to my younger students.

Training is not just about fighting; it is about preparing the body and mind. Here, my students of all ages participate in a warm up and stretching session during an outdoor training event. Flexibility and discipline are the foundation of everything we do.

In my studio, we do not practice choreography. When you join a session, we start by simulating real-world threats, such as being pinned to the ground or grabbed from behind. You will learn to use your heels, knees, and body weight to break an attacker’s hold, regardless of their size or yours. It is not about being a fighter; it is about knowing exactly how to protect yourself when you have seconds to escape.
