Yoga is not just about bending your body; it is about untangling your mind. Here is how I apply ancient wisdom to the daily chaos—no filters, just reality.

What does it really mean to 'be aware'? It's about noticing what's happening right now, inside and out. In yoga, we call this Sakshi Bhava, the state of being a witness to your own life.

The real yoga begins off the mat. It's when you start to respond instead of react, when you notice your emotional triggers, and when you bring awareness into your daily life.

Most people think yoga is about flexibility, but that's just the surface. The real practice is the inner shift from body to soul, from distraction to deep connection with yourself.

They say yoga means 'union', but sometimes it feels like 'de-union'. The practice teaches you to let go of attachments, whether it's to things, outcomes, or relationships that no longer serve you.

Your body holds hidden impurities and energy blockages from modern life. Yoga is the ultimate pranic cleanse, using asana and breath to clear your subtle energy system and let your life force flow freely.

Your energy, or prana, is like a wild animal. Without training, it runs wild. Through yogic techniques, you can regulate your prana, channel it, and have the energy to do everything you want to do.

Who can practice yoga? The ancient texts say everyone: young, old, sick, or weak. Yoga is a universal path to self-realization, no matter what kind of body you have.

A client asked if she could practice yoga if she follows a different faith. My answer is always yes! Yoga is not a religion; its goal is to connect your individual soul to the universal soul, a goal that transcends any single belief system.

Our modern world is full of comfort, so why does peace feel so far away? We have soft beds and sleek offices, but we carry hidden exhaustion and tension.

Yoga is the way forward. It's not an escape, but a return to vitality, clarity, and balance. In a world of distractions, it's the practice that brings us home to ourselves.

About Yoga Philosophy, No Filter

We often think we need to sit on a mountain top to be 'spiritual.' Wrong. You can practice awareness right in the middle of a heated team meeting or a terrible traffic jam. When I talk about yoga philosophy, I am not quoting ancient texts to sound smart. I am talking about why your neck locks up when you get an angry email and how to notice that physical tension before it takes over your entire day.
