Creating Your Baby’s Floral Story
I love working with fresh and faux florals to build a soft, garden-inspired atmosphere for your newborn's portraits. These sessions are designed to be slow and steady. Whether we are aiming for a classic angelic white setup with roses or a bohemian vibe with rustic crates and eucalyptus, the process always starts with ensuring your baby is deeply comfortable.
The Importance of Timing
I generally recommend scheduling your session within 8 to 20 days after birth. At this stage, babies are at their sleepiest and are most comfortable in the curled, fetal poses that look so beautiful in floral frames. This timing allows me to move through different setups, like using a miniature bed or a wicker basket, without disturbing their peaceful rest.
What Goes Into the Setup
Every floral arrangement is curated to be delicate, not overwhelming. The goal is to frame the baby, not hide them. I use premium wraps in soft pastels or neutrals to complement the flowers, ensuring the final image is timeless and clean.
