Behind the Scenes at Vivartana

When you book my studio, you get more than just floor space. You get the same environment where I rehearse my own Arangetram pieces and train students, meaning the acoustics are tuned for classical footwork and the wooden floor is maintained to reduce joint impact during long practice sessions.

My studio in Kodambakkam is not a sterile commercial venue. It is a working space. I built it to be a blank canvas for other artists, whether you are a photographer needing a minimalist background, a content creator looking for steady lighting, or a dancer who needs a private room to drill Nattadavu without distraction.

The studio is equipped with professional wooden flooring to protect your joints during high-intensity sessions. It also features full-length mirrors that I personally use for my own posture corrections. I keep the space climate-controlled with air conditioning to ensure you can focus on your art rather than the heat.

If you are planning a rehearsal or a video shoot, keep in mind that I maintain a strict no-food policy inside the main studio to keep the floor clean for everyone. You are welcome to use the changing room and the provided ring light setup for your content creation. Whether you are a solo practitioner or bringing a small ensemble, the space is ready for you to move.
