About this collection
At the heart of our performance is the conversation between instruments. Whether it is the tabla and harmonium grounding us in traditional Sufi roots, or the electric guitars and drums bringing in the Bollywood energy, every member of our ensemble has a clear purpose. Our Musical Setup
- The 10-Piece Grand Ensemble: Designed for larger events and corporate stages, this setup includes our full rhythm section (drums and bass) alongside traditional elements like the flute, tabla, and harmonium. It allows us to transition seamlessly from soulful ballads to high-octane Bollywood hits.
- The 6-Piece Mehfil Setup: For smaller, private gatherings, we strip back the electronics. This acoustic-focused configuration is perfect for ghazal nights and settings where the focus is on poetry, interaction, and deep listening.
Why the Ensemble Matters
We do not rely on backing tracks. Every sound you hear on stage is produced live by our musicians. Our flutist adds an ethereal quality to our Sufi numbers, while our keyboardist bridges the gap between classical sounds and contemporary arrangements. Our sound engineer is a critical part of the team, ensuring that whether we are playing in a grand hotel ballroom in Delhi or an outdoor venue, the acoustics are balanced so the poetry never gets lost in the noise.
