Behind The Scenes: My Styling Process In Action
See how I bring a brand's vision to life. From on-set adjustments to creative direction, here is a quick look at the work that happens off-camera.
Here is a glimpse of me at work on various shoots. From styling a floral kalire for a bridal look to adjusting a hijab for a modest fashion campaign, I am involved in every step to make sure the final vision comes to life.
About this collection
A photo might look polished, but the real work happens in the quiet moments before the shutter clicks. Whether I am steaming garments for a high-volume e-commerce shoot or tucking a hijab for a modest fashion campaign, my focus is always on the minute details that transform a standard look into a cohesive visual story. I never work alone, as it is always about the crew, the photographers, and the production team making magic happen together on set.
The Reality of On-Set Styling
People often see the final glossy images, but the styling process is physically demanding and requires constant attention to detail. On a typical 8-hour shift, I am not just selecting outfits. I am managing steam, ensuring the fabric falls perfectly, and adjusting set props to match the lighting conditions. Having founded my own jewellery label, Parakkh Jaipur, I approach every shoot with the eye of a brand owner. I understand the commercial pressure of e-commerce lookbooks and the creative freedom required for high-fashion editorials.
My Approach to Collaboration
Fashion styling is a team sport. Whether it is a TV commercial or a festive campaign, the success of the shoot relies on how well the stylist, makeup artist, and photographer communicate. I rely on my team to keep the energy high during long hours. We carry kits filled with safety pins, clamps, and lint rollers because the smallest, most invisible fix is often what makes a shot work.
Why Process Matters
Understanding the effort behind a campaign helps brands and clients see that I am a partner, not just a service provider. When I am on set in Mumbai, Delhi, or Jaipur, my goal is to bridge the gap between the photographer's vision and the brand's identity. If you are looking for a creative director who gets involved in the logistics of the shoot, from sourcing accessories to model direction, let's connect. ✨
