Our Interior Design Journey: Creating Soulful, Sushobit Spaces
A home is not built in a day. Take a peek behind the curtain at how we transform raw, empty rooms into meaningful spaces, one corner at a time.
A sourcing day is where the vision starts to become tangible. This video shows me exploring lighting and furniture stores, testing chairs for comfort, and hunting for unique pieces that will give a project its distinct personality.
Finding the perfect lighting is about more than just lamps; it's about finding the one piece that makes a room feel alive. This is a look at my process of searching for unique chandeliers and fixtures that set the right mood.
I believe in curating spaces with furniture that is both beautiful and ergonomic. Here I am at a showroom, exploring collections and selecting pieces that I know will provide comfort and style for my client's project.
The mood board session is a critical and collaborative step. I lay out fabric swatches, tile samples, and laminate options with my clients to finalize the material palette, ensuring the final design truly reflects their personality and lifestyle.
Shopping for tiles for a bathroom or kitchen backsplash. I love exploring new patterns, colors, and textures, like these beautiful striped and arabesque tiles, to find the perfect material that will elevate the space.
Exploring vintage-style floor tiles with modern connectors. I am always on the lookout for new design concepts and materials that can add a unique and timeless character to my projects.
Here I am exploring the Terra Quartz surfaces from Hafele. These strong and versatile materials are excellent for a wide array of home applications, and I always stay updated on the best products for my clients.
From a creative idea to a precise plan. This is a look at the technical drawings for a custom marble puja unit, showing how every dimension and detail is meticulously planned before execution to ensure a flawless result.
This is the kitchen elevation drawing for one of my projects. Detailed plans like this are essential in my turnkey process. They map out everything from cabinet dimensions and appliance placement to lighting and electrical points.
The process of stone cladding a 22-foot wall is messy but the outcome is always beautiful. This video shows my team meticulously installing the stone in vertical and horizontal patterns to create a visually interesting and dramatic feature wall.
About Our Design Journey: The Making of a Space
Design is more than just initial sketches; it is about the messy, real work that happens between the first site visit and the final reveal. Whether we are hunting for the perfect cane chair to fit a specific nook or adjusting electrical points on a construction drawing, I am on-site to ensure the vision translates into reality. We do not just hand over a design plan; we guide the entire execution, from selecting materials to the final styling, ensuring every element is grounded in your personal story.
How We Build Your Vision
My design process is a collaborative journey that turns a blank canvas into a space that provides 'Sukoon' (peace). Because I specialize in turnkey interiors, I manage the complexities so you don't have to.
1. The Concept & Strategy Phase We start with a conversation, not a brochure. I want to understand your lifestyle, your brand, and how you actually use your space. We move from initial sketches to detailed 3D renders, which act as a blueprint for our direction. This is where we finalize the 'vibe'—whether it is a minimal home or a functional retail outlet.
2. Material Selection & Mood Boards This is where the texture comes in. We create physical mood boards with fabric swatches, laminate samples, and paint codes. We don't guess what looks good; we touch, feel, and compare materials against the light of your specific site to ensure harmony.
3. The Execution & Site Management This is the most critical part. I am heavily involved on-site. From guiding carpenters on edge banding to ensuring stone cladding follows a specific horizontal pattern on a 22-foot wall, my presence ensures quality control. We coordinate the plumbing, electrical, and civil work, turning technical drawings into physical reality. We treat every 'kona' (corner) with attention to detail.
4. Final Styling & Handover Once the heavy lifting is done, we bring in the final layers—rugs, lighting, and decor. A space isn't 'Sushobit' (well adorned) until the final styling creates that warm, welcoming feeling you can walk into on day one.
My goal is to handle the logistics so you can focus on making the space your own.
