High Fashion Editorial Styling
High-fashion editorial styling that blends conceptual storytelling with artistic direction for magazines, campaigns, and creative portfolios.
A shot from my 'Serpent' series, where we used voluminous tulle and bold, theatrical makeup to explore themes of transformation and grace. The juxtaposition of the delicate fabric with the rustic truck creates a compelling visual contrast.
The 'SOLARA' series was about capturing a sense of ethereal movement. This look features a simple white dress layered with a flowing white blazer, creating a dynamic shape against the natural backdrop.
For this project, we crafted custom golden breastplates and ornate masks. The styling was inspired by themes of royalty and celestial elegance, set against a rich, textured backdrop to create a sense of ancient grandeur.
From the 'LUNA' series, this look plays with bold color blocking and exaggerated accessories. The oversized, hand-painted sombrero and vibrant red elements against a white dress create a surreal, folk-art-inspired aesthetic.
Part of the 'Lampione' night series, this look combines a faux fur jacket with a graphic print outfit. The styling and dramatic makeup were designed to capture a moody, urban, and artistic vibe.
A surreal and artistic composition featuring a custom-molded white breastplate over a striking red bodysuit. The use of smoke and flowers on the set adds to the dreamlike, high-fashion atmosphere of the shoot.
A retro-inspired editorial look from the 'BLANCH' series. The floral dress with a dramatic shoulder detail, paired with a classic car and vintage hairstyle, evokes a sense of nostalgic glamour.
About this collection
Planning an editorial or conceptual shoot involves much more than picking pieces from a rack. My process begins with moodboarding and collaborative sessions with your photographer and makeup team to ensure every element, from the fabric texture to the makeup tone, aligns with the visual narrative. I handle the logistics of sourcing garments and props, and provide direct on-set supervision to adjust silhouettes and lighting interactions until we capture the exact tone you are after.
Conceptual shoots are about the marriage of art and fashion. When I work on a creative editorial, my goal is to strip away the noise and focus on a single, evocative emotion. This involves detailed pre-production: planning the color palette, selecting fabrics that move well under specific lighting, and finding unique elements that ground the concept, whether that means pulling garments from designer boutiques or discovering the perfect vintage accessory.
I work across Bangalore, Mumbai, and Kerala, supporting independent magazines, fashion photographers, and brands that need a cohesive lookbook or campaign. My approach to styling for these shoots is inherently collaborative. I do not just bring a stylist’s eye; I bring a creative director’s discipline to the set. We focus on the silhouette, the way fabric reacts to movement, and how the model’s styling connects with the environment, whether it is an industrial quarry or a quiet studio space.
If you are planning an avant-garde shoot or a high-fashion editorial, we will start with a clear creative vision. We establish the mood first, then move to styling, accessory matching, and finally, on-set execution where I oversee every detail to ensure nothing is lost in the frame. Let's create something that speaks.
