Our Design Philosophy & Journey
Meet the team behind Studio Srijan. Learn how we combine engineering precision with a focus on family-centric living to deliver complete, ready-to-move-in homes.
In this interview, I talk about my journey of three decades in the industry, the strength of my 50-person team, and the pride I take in having delivered over a thousand homes.
Here, I explain my design process, which starts with understanding the family's needs. I believe a home is not for one person, but for the entire family, and every space, especially the kitchen, must be tailored to their lifestyle.
I discuss the importance of clarity in the design process. With so many materials and techniques available, I use Virtual Reality (VR) to show clients exactly how their home will look, ensuring they have complete confidence in the final result.
I was honored to be a part of the esteemed jury panel at the Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing (FOAID), a platform that celebrates creativity in our industry.

About Meet the Founder & Our Journey
I founded Studio Srijan in 1995 with a clear objective: to bridge the gap between architectural plans and a family's actual daily needs. My approach relies on the technical rigor of my IIT background, ensuring that every project, from compact apartments to large residences, is executed with absolute precision. We do not believe in surprises; the 3D designs you approve at the start are exactly what we build on-site, allowing you to move into a finished, functional home without the stress of managing multiple vendors.
Architecture Driven by Precision
For nearly three decades, we have focused on one thing: delivering homes that work. With a team of 50, we manage the entire project lifecycle—architecture, interior design, and site execution. This total control allows us to eliminate the common friction points where design intent is often lost during construction.
The Human Side of Design
Architecture is not just about aesthetics; it is about how a family interacts with their space. When we design a kitchen, we interview the person who uses it daily to understand their storage habits and cooking workflow. If we are planning a living room, we look at how the family hosts guests. Our goal is to ensure the house adapts to your lifestyle, not the other way around.
Clarity Through Technology
There is often a gap between what a client imagines and what is eventually built. To solve this, we use Virtual Reality (VR) as a core part of our process. By walking you through your home in a virtual environment before we lay a single brick, we remove guesswork regarding materials, lighting, and layout. You know exactly what you are paying for, and you see it come to life exactly as planned.
Industry Commitment
Beyond our project sites, I believe in staying connected with the evolving standards of our craft. My role as a jury member at the Festival of Architecture and Interior Designing (FOAID) keeps us sharp, ensuring that the techniques and materials we recommend to our clients are both modern and durable. We are here to deliver a final, polished product, built to last from the day you get the keys.
