I hold degrees in B.Com and M.Com, but I chose to spend my life like this, covered in paint and lost in creativity. This is my artistic journey.

What is art to you? For me, it's a process of connecting with ourselves, with others, and with the infinite possibilities of imagination.
Being a resin artist is so much more than pouring colors. It's precision, patience, and battling bubbles, but the final flawless shine makes it all worth it.
"I'm just adding some last details." Behind that simple sentence are hours of work, ruined clothes, and skipped meals, because when you're in the creative flow, nothing else exists.

About Behind the Art: My Journey & Process
You will see polished resin pieces here, but the real story is in the process. Every piece you see on my feed started with a 'oops' moment, like the time my resin art caught fire. I do not hide the mistakes; I use them as textures, which is exactly why my custom commissions look so organic and unique.
Art is rarely a straight line. When I left my corporate life in Kolkata to start Studio Chhavi in Bellandur, I didn't have a perfect blueprint. I had messy palettes, piles of modeling paste, and a lot of self-doubt.
My process is built on that imperfection. When I work on a textured mural or a resin ocean piece, I am not just applying materials. I am layering, sanding, and fixing. Whether it is using fabric folds for 3D depth or gold foil for highlights, I believe that art heals because it forces you to slow down and trust the journey.
If you are looking to commission a piece, know that you are not just getting an object. We will chat about your space, your story, and the colors that bring you peace. I share photos during the pour so you are part of the transformation.
My Core Methods:
- Texture & Mixed Media: Using modeling paste and stiffened fabric to build stories you can touch.
- Resin Art: High-gloss, multi-layered resin that captures depth, from geode sparkles to calm ocean waves.
- Preservation: Carefully dehydrating flowers or mementos to keep your memories sealed in resin forever.
Everything I make, from spiritual mantra frames to large-scale office installations, is handled in-house. I pack, I ship, and I manage the setup. If you want to see how it's done, I also host beginner-friendly workshops in Bangalore where we skip the perfection and focus on the joy of creating.
