My studio isn't just a showroom; it’s where ideas clash with reality. Come see the messy, unpredictable process of turning resin into art.

Lately, life has been a balancing act between showing up for work and showing up for myself. This is a quiet reminder that the mess is part of the magic and that growth often looks like quiet, consistent effort. If you're figuring things out, I see you.

Do you feel me? I've tried to make a crystal-clear resin globe over 100 times, but the balloon always sticks. This is the real, frustrating, and sometimes funny side of being an artist. It’s all trial and error, and I'm still trying to figure this one out!

This is what we artists really go through. From ideas that don't work out to messy studios and aching backs, it's not always glamorous. But I wouldn't trade this crazy, creative rollercoaster for anything. The struggle makes the wins so much sweeter.

We all have that voice of doubt that tells us we're not good enough. The secret is to take action anyway. Don't let fear hold you back from your creative dreams. Just make things!

There's no way you work this hard for it not to happen. This is a reminder to trust the process and believe that every moment of effort is preparing you for something amazing that hasn't happened yet. Keep going.

Here's to messy middles and stories still setting. The studio is always buzzing, and my hands are always in the middle of a project. It's a rhythm I'm learning to trust, and a reminder that the most beautiful things often come from a bit of chaos.

I've felt stretched thin, but I've also felt deeply alive in the making. This is the reality of an artist's life. It's about finding balance and remembering that showing up for your work also means showing up for yourself.

Some things in life are like resin: delicate, unpredictable, and constantly asking for your presence. It's a medium that demands your full attention, but the reward is always worth it.

After six months in my new studio, I'm so grateful for this dream come true. This video is a celebration of manifesting my dreams through hard work, dedication, and unwavering consistency. This space is my pocket of peace.

Two years in, and I still get a rush every time I walk into my studio. It's proof that taking the leap was worth it. This space has seen it all: the failures, the celebrations, and the endless experiments. It has shaped me as much as I've shaped it.

About Behind the Art: My Process & Studio Life

Most people think resin art is just pouring and waiting, but honestly, it’s mostly troubleshooting. Whether it’s fixing a sticky pour, removing bubbles from a custom mold, or getting the perfect finish on a river table, I’ve spent years learning what works through trial and error. If you are curious about my process or want to try it yourself in my Mumbai studio, let's chat about my upcoming workshop batches.

You see the glossy, finished tables and lamps, but the road to get there is full of dust, masks, and occasional 'oops' moments. My studio in Andheri West is where I embrace this chaos.

The Reality of Resin Art

Working with epoxy resin is an unpredictable game. It’s chemistry meeting creativity. When I’m fabricating a live-edge river table, it’s not just about the pour. It involves prepping the wood, constructing leak-proof molds, and constant sanding—moving from 80 grit up to 2000 grit to achieve that glass-like finish. It’s labor-intensive, it gets messy, and yes, sometimes I break things. But that’s the work.

Why I Share My Process

I believe in transparency. I don't gatekeep my techniques. In my workshops, I teach everything from dustpan pouring to fixing humidity-related mistakes. Whether you are learning to cast a resin lamp or building your first custom furniture piece, I show you how to handle the tools—the Dremel, the buffers, and the heat guns—safely and effectively.

Join the Studio

My space is for people who want to learn by doing. Whether you are looking for a weekend hobby or wanting to dive into professional resin art, I keep my batches small (max 5 people) so you get actual attention. You won't just watch me; you will get your hands dirty, make your own piece, and walk away with the confidence to keep creating.

If you have a project in mind or want to book a seat for the next session, send me a message. Let’s make something real together.

I’m Poonam. I started as a finance professional, but found my true calling in the chaos of resin art. Now, I spend my days creating custom keepsakes and teaching others that it’s okay to have a messy studio—that’s where the best stories begin.
