Behind the Art: My Process & Story
Resin art isn't just about pouring liquid; it's about patience, failing, starting over, and finally, locking your precious memories into something that lasts. Welcome to my studio.
It’s surprising how strangers online can be more supportive than people you know. I'm so grateful for every single person who follows my journey and believes in my small business. Thank you.
2023 was a year of growth. I'm so grateful for everyone who supported my business, whether it was with an order, a like, or a kind comment. It all contributes to my journey.
My art journey started when I was just a child, and resin art has become my true passion. This is a little glimpse into my story and how I became an artist.
A proud moment for me, delivering a custom logo frame to an interior designer's beautiful office. Seeing my art in a space designed by another creative is a special feeling.
Celebrating two years in the world of resin art. Without art, my world would be empty. It's more than a job; it's how I express myself and connect with all of you.
Sometimes, I make things just for myself. I created this evil eye hanging for my own door, a little piece of art to bring good vibes to my own space.
A quick look at me and the different kinds of art I create, from large tables to small, intricate pieces. This is what I love to do.
About this collection
You might see the final, glossy result in the gallery, but the journey to get there is slow and steady. When you trust me with your wedding varmala or baby keepsakes, I spend 3-4 weeks carefully dehydrating the flowers and casting layer by layer. It is a slow process because rushing means losing the detail, and for me, keeping your emotions safe is more important than speed.
Creating in resin is not as simple as it looks in the videos. It is a chemistry-heavy process where temperature, humidity, and patience play the biggest roles. When you send me your flowers or baby items, my first step is dehydration—I use silica sand to strip moisture so that your flowers don't rot inside the resin. This is where most people get impatient, but I have learned that if I rush this, the flowers lose their color and shape.
Then comes the pouring. You will often see me sharing my mistakes or the times when the resin just didn't dry, or the colors got muddy. That is the reality of the work. I do not hide these failures because they are part of the process that leads to the final, perfect piece. Whether it is a deep-cast block for your varmala or a delicate nameplate, each layer needs to set for 24 to 48 hours before I can move to the next.
My studio is my happy place, but it is also where I put in the hard hours to ensure that your memories are preserved exactly as you remember them. If you are looking for someone to treat your keepsakes like their own, we should talk.
