For this project, the client wanted a complete relaxation zone. I built a compact, insulated room next to the jacuzzi, providing a private space to change or cool down, seamlessly integrated with the overall terrace landscape design.

Engineering Your Rooftop Space
When we take on a rooftop project, we look at it through two lenses: physics and lifestyle. Traditional masonry is often too heavy for existing slabs, leading to cracks and waterproofing issues. That is why we pivot to prefabricated steel frames. By using Hollow Section MS Steel or Light Gauge Steel Framing (LGSF), we significantly reduce the dead weight while increasing structural integrity.

- Thermal Performance: Delhi heat is no joke. We use 50mm to 75mm PUF insulated sandwich panels for the roof and Double Glazed Units (DGU) for the windows. This combination keeps your interior cool during summer and quiet during the monsoon.
