About Traditional Indian Art
My Art, My Story
For me, art is like adding a bit of life to every corner. I get excited mixing age-old Indian styles with my own twist - whether that’s a big canvas or tiny Diwali ke diyas (lamps). My work is all handmade, right from the first brush stroke to the last tiny detail.
Heritage, Apna Style
I love diving into traditional Indian art forms and giving them new meaning. Some favourites:
- Kerala mural painting and Theyyam - the energy, the colours, the whole vibe is something else. Kathakali faces too, I try to catch all those dramatic expressions.
- Kalamkari hand painting - the patience needed for those tiny lines and earthy peacock motifs is real, but it’s worth it.
- Mandala wall art - sometimes I go all cosmic, sometimes just black and white zentangle, or play around with single colours like blue or green.
Gods, Stories & Custom Work
Lots of my art is inspired by Hindu deity artwork - Ganesha, Lakshmi, you name it. If you have a particular god, colour, or a size in mind, I’m always up for custom pieces. Bas, batao (just tell me), and we’ll figure it out together.
How I Do It
Mostly, I stick to Fevicryl acrylic paints and Brustro brushes on canvas or thick paper. Simple setup, but that’s what lets me focus on the real stuff - bringing your ideas and our heritage to life.

My Story
Hi, I'm Ayshwarya. Art is just... my thing. It’s how I connect everything around me. Shifted from Bangalore to Kochi, carrying my paints and a bunch of half-finished ideas. Some days, I feel like that phoenix I painted - gotta restart, rise up, try again. I get lost in the tiny details, whether it’s a galaxy-coloured mandala or a Kalamkari piece. Kerala’s heritage, especially Theyyam and Kathakali, keeps me inspired. Even a small bookmark makes me happy. Every piece is a bit of my story.
My Work
Handmade Art & Custom Orders - I make custom mandala painting, canvas art, Kalamkari, Kerala mural painting, and personalized art bookmarks.
Traditional & Festive Pieces - Love working on Kerala styles, Theyyam, Kathakali, and even handmade Diwali lamps in the festive season.
Personal Touch, Always - Each piece is handmade by me, using good paints and brushes so colours pop and last long.
