Growing your family is a massive milestone, and for many of us, our pets are the first 'children' we cared for. They deserve to be front and center in your maternity or newborn journey. My approach is entirely about the connection between you, your partner, your pet, and your baby.

My Approach to Pet-Inclusive Shoots My style isn't about stiff backdrops or forcing your dog to sit still for an hour. Whether we are in a quiet Bangalore park, a sunlit home, or a professional studio, I focus on the candid energy. If your dog is energetic, we play. If your cat prefers a corner, we take it slow. I’ve learned from my own indie pup, Fuji, that animals have their own pace, and rushing them is the quickest way to kill the mood.

What We Can Create Together

• Outdoor Maternity Sessions: Perfect if your pet loves the open air. We find quiet, safe spots in places like Bangalore’s parks or Luxembourg’s fields where your pet can be themselves while we get those golden-hour shots.
• At-Home Newborn Shoots: These are incredibly intimate. We capture your new routine—the naps, the feeding, and your pet adjusting to the new baby—in the comfort of your living room or nursery.
• Studio Portraits: If you prefer a classic look, I keep the studio atmosphere calm and familiar, which is excellent for pets who might be shy or easily distracted.

A Few Practical Tips for Success

• Bring Their Favorites: I always carry treats, but bring their absolute favorites. It helps them associate the shoot with a fun bonding time rather than 'work.'
• Don't Stress the Poses: Some of the best shots happen when the pet is doing their own thing. Relax, ignore the camera, and focus on loving on your pet. I’ll handle the framing.
• Timing is Key: For newborns, we aim for the time of day when both the baby and the pet are usually most relaxed.
