About Featured
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your technique, our studio in Jungpura Extension is built on an open-door policy. We intentionally keep our class sizes small so our teachers can give every student personal attention. If you are unsure where to start, we highly recommend booking a drop-in trial session for the style that catches your eye, as it is the best way to feel the energy of our space before committing to a full course.
Our Approach to Dance
At Stance, we treat dance as a conversation. Whether it is the intense focus of a Kalaripayattu intensive led by Guru Vinod Kadangal or the high-energy flow of our Street Jazz workshops, we want you to leave class feeling more connected to your body. Our instructors focus on technique and discipline, but we never lose sight of the fun factor. If you see students giggling or breaking into spontaneous movement in the corner, that is just a typical day in the studio.
Classes for Every Level
We serve the South Delhi community with a diverse range of movement arts:
- Martial Arts: Our Northern style Kalaripayattu training includes body control and weapon basics.
- Street Styles: In collaboration with Hip Hop Elements, we offer breaking, hip-hop, and street jazz for all ages.
- Classic & Grace: We host Odissi and Ballet sessions that emphasize posture and storytelling.
- For the Little Ones: Our kids' programs are designed to build confidence, with creative movement and seasonal camps that turn shy beginners into stage-ready performers.
The Annual Recital
Every year, we put together our big annual production. This is the highlight of our calendar. Students spend two months in rehearsals, focusing on stage blocking, stamina, and performance skills. It is not just about the show; it is about the friendships formed during those long practice hours in the studio.
