Annual Dance Recital and Student Showcases
Our annual recital is the heartbeat of the studio. It is where months of studio practice, choreography, and team effort transform into a full-scale stage production for students of all ages.

About The Annual Recital: Our Biggest Celebration
We dedicate two full months to our annual performance cycle, balancing technical training with stage blocking. Whether you are a beginner or looking to join a performance troupe, these sessions require consistent attendance and dedication to rehearsals, usually held on weekends leading up to the final show.
From Studio Floor to Spotlight
The annual recital is where we see the growth of our dancers, from tiny tots to adults. It is not just about the final performance but the process we build together. We treat the recital as a grand musical production, similar to our past show 'Finding Neverland,' which featured over 100 performers. This is a chance for our community to come together, including parents and teachers who collaborate on costume, stage management, and rehearsal schedules.
What to Expect in the Cycle
- Technique & Blocking: We focus on stage presence, spacing, and transition techniques that are distinct from standard studio classes.
- Inclusive Casting: Whether you are in our Kalaripayattu sessions, Jazz, or Bollywood classes, everyone gets a chance to perform. We believe in finding a space for every student to shine.
- Commitment: This is an intensive commitment. Expect additional weekend rehearsals and dress runs as we approach the performance date.
Our instructors, including specialists for Kalaripayattu and Street Jazz, work one-on-one with students to build confidence. Seeing our youngest ballerinas or adult students take the stage for the first time is why we do this. If you are looking to join a supportive environment where our little mastikhors (fun-lovers) can grow, perform, and belong, the recital cycle is the best time to start your journey with us.
Stance Dance Studio
I am Himani Khurana, and for me, the studio is less of a business and more like a loud, happy family. When we are not training in the studio, we are obsessing over costumes and stage cues for our next big show, helping shy students find their confidence under the spotlight.
