Traditional Marigold Setup (Pujas & Store Openings)
Floral Arrangement
- Entrance Toran: Heavy twisted garlands of Orange and Yellow Marigolds framing the main door or shutter (approx. 15-20 running feet).
- Vertical Hangings: Strings of single-color marigold with mango leaf accents spaced 6 inches apart to create a curtain effect (10-15 strings).
- Pillar Spirals: Candy-cane style wrapping of marigold garlands around entrance pillars or railings.
Floor & Installation
- Floral Rangoli: A 3x3 ft floor design created using loose marigold and rose petals at the doorstep.
- Loose Flowers: 500g of loose flowers provided extra for rituals.
- Labor: Includes transport and on-site tying by skilled florists (2-3 hours setup time).
Birthday Balloon Decor & Themed Props
Balloon Configuration
- Entrance Arch: Standard rectangular or semi-circle arch using a 2-color spiral pattern (approx. 200+ latex balloons).
- Pillars & Scatters: 2-4 standalone balloon pillars (4ft height) and 30-50 loose air-filled balloons on the floor or ceiling.
Props & Backdrop
- Themed Elements: Usage of 2D Thermocol or Sunboard cutouts (e.g., Selfie Frames, Characters, or Festive motifs).
- Printed Backdrop: A 6x4 ft flex backdrop mounted on a truss frame tailored to the event theme.
- Lighting: Basic halogen wash light to ensure the backdrop is visible.
Formal Stage & Banquet Floral Decor
Stage Setup
- Floral Header: A 10-12 ft wide arrangement on the top truss. Composition: 60% Artificial fillers, 40% Fresh Roses and Carnations.
- Backdrop: Ruched fabric curtain (White/Beige) behind the floral frame.
- Side Elements: Two tall floral stands or vases flanking the main seating area.
Entrance & Passage
- Welcome Arch: Full floral arch at the hall entrance (approx 8x10 ft) matching the stage color palette.
- Walkway: Red carpet passage lined with 4-6 small floral pedestals or lanterns.
- Signage: Wooden easel stand with a floral-board welcome sign.
Outdoor Tent, Furniture & Lawn Setup
Structure & Draping
- Canopy: Open-air truss structure covered with pleated fabric draping in vibrant colors (Red/White or Yellow/Green) covering approx. 1,000 sq. ft.
- Flooring: Full coverage using Artificial Green Grass carpet or Standard Red carpet.
- Lighting: Installation of 2-3 crystal-style decorative chandeliers (Jhoomers) plus ambient halogen lights.
Seating & Furniture
- Lounge Zone: Includes 2-3 sets of Chesterfield-style Velvet Sofas (Pink/Beige) for VIPs.
- Guest Seating: 40-50 banquet chairs with white covers and colored tie-back ribbons.
- Stage Area: Low-height stage (8x12 ft) with fabric backdrop and artificial floral border.

Home Puja & Small Gatherings
I use lots of genda phool (marigold flower decor) for the main door, sometimes wrapping the frame, sometimes hanging torans. For floor patterns, I spread fresh petals, making it look and feel like a traditional home puja decoration - pure and simple.
Parties & Family Celebrations
For birthdays or anniversaries, I work with halls or lawns. There’s colored tablecloths, chair sashes, sofas for outside, and customized anniversary centerpiece ideas that match your vibe. Table centerpieces could be lanterns with fresh flowers or whatever you like.
Big Festive Events
Mehendi, Holi, Sangeet - these get bright, bold setups. You’ll see gates dressed up in fabric, paper pinwheels, and Rajasthani chhatris. For outdoor spaces, I set up pandals, diwans, cushions, and colorful drapes. If you want balloon wall decoration or a big ‘HOLI’ sign lit up, I’ve got it covered.
My Toolkit
I use fresh flowers (roses, carnations, genda), balloons (arches, spirals, full walls), fabrics (ceiling, backdrop, tent), and lighting (chandeliers, spotlights). Furniture like sofas and chairs is part of the setup too.
