Home Haldi & Mehendi Setup
Backdrop & Stage Area
- Dimensions: Standard 8ft x 8ft or 10ft x 10ft backdrop suitable for living rooms or small halls.
- Design: Yellow and orange fabric draping with vertical strings of fresh Marigold (Genda) flowers.
- Couple Seating: Decorated two seater sofa or a traditional low seating Diwan with yellow/pink cushions.
- Flooring: Red or Green carpet for the stage area (approx 100 sq ft).
Entrance & Props
- Welcome Gate: Box truss or wooden frame gate wrapped in fabric with Rajasthani style puppets or marigold torans.
- Photo Ops: Includes 4 to 6 colorful Rajasthani umbrellas, a decorated bicycle prop, or earthen pots.
- Signage: One easel board with floral borders.
Guest Seating
- Capacity: Decor for up to 30 to 40 guests.
- Type: Covers and tie backs for existing chairs OR provision of 6 to 8 floor mattresses with white sheets and bolsters.
- Lighting: Basic halogen lighting and 4 to 5 strings of fairy lights for the backdrop.
Banquet Hall Wedding Decor
Grand Stage Decor
- Structure: Large stage setup (24ft to 30ft wide) featuring a floral wall backdrop or fabric drapes.
- Florals: High quality artificial flowers (roses, hydrangeas) for volume with fresh flower detailing on the front lines.
- Furniture: One 3 seater bride/groom sofa (Velvet/Rexine finish) plus two single chairs.
- Lighting: 8 to 10 LED PAR lights and profile spots.
Mandap & Ritual Area
- Mandap: Standard 4 pillar open structure (approx 10x10 ft) draped in color coordinated fabrics.
- Ceiling: Crystal hangings or floral chandelier in the center.
- Seating: 2 low height tables (bajots) and 4 low stools on a carpeted base.
Entrance & Pathway
- Archway: Decorative floral arch (mix of fabric and faux flowers) at the main door.
- Aisle: Red carpet running from entrance to stage (up to 50ft).
- Walkway: 6 to 8 decorative pillars lining the aisle topped with floral bouquets or crystal lamps.
- Centerpieces: Artificial floral arrangements on metal stands for up to 15 round tables.
Grand Outdoor Lawn & Pandal Decor
Structural Tenting & Ceiling
- Coverage: Peripheral masking/walling for a lawn approx 4000 to 6000 sq ft.
- Ceiling: Full fabric draping overhead in scalloped patterns (White, Gold, or Pastels).
- Lighting: Installation of 4 to 6 Jumbo Chandeliers along the main walkway and center area.
Premium Stage & Mandap
- Stage: Extra wide stage (30ft+) with a multi layered backdrop using frames and heavy floral pasting.
- Mandap: Grand open air Mandap with heavy fresh floral work (Rajnigandha/Tube Roses).
- VIP Lounge: Stylized seating area near the stage with 4 to 5 sets of plush velvet sofas.
Guest Furniture & Dining
- Chairs: Provision of 100 to 150 Gold/Silver Tiffany or Chiavari chairs with cushions.
- Dining: Tented canopy for the food area including fabric skirting for 10 to 12 buffet counters.
- Table Setup: Round tables with full length linens and overlays.
Entrance Experience
- Tunnel: A 15 to 20ft long tunnel entrance created with fabric and fairy lights.
- Welcome Area: Decorative console table with floral arrangements.
About Wedding Decoration
I’m all about making your wedding look just right, whether it’s in your backyard or the fanciest banquet hall in Noida. I handle everything from the haldi’s genda phool (marigold) setup to grand reception stages.
How I Work
- I do full decoration for every ceremony - haldi, mehendi, sangeet, wedding, and reception.
- For haldi, I stick to a yellow and orange marigold vibe, with simple mandap designs and bright fabrics.
- Mehendi and sangeet are more colourful - loads of pink, green, and orange, with cozy seating and festive hangings.
- For the main wedding, you can go royal with red and gold, big chandeliers, or keep it elegant with white and gold, fairy lights, and fresh flowers.

- I set up the stage, backdrops, mandap, entrance, and aisle.
- Lighting is sorted - chandeliers, spotlights, and fairy lights for that dreamy look.
- Flowers are my thing - roses, marigolds, gerberas, all arranged for arches, centerpieces, and garlands.
- Stylish furniture and props, like velvet sofas, diwans, and even neon signs with your wedding hashtag.
I’m local, so I know the venues and what works here. Sometimes, weather can mess with outdoor setups, but I’ll always suggest backup options. If you want a traditional marigold wedding decor or something modern, I’ll make it happen.
