About A Peek Behind The Lens
It is rarely just about clicking a button. Whether I am singing the latest Cocomelon song to settle a toddler or adjusting the lighting for a maternity gown, I spend half the session acting as a playmate and half as a technician to keep everyone comfortable and relaxed.
Professional photography often looks like a calm, polished affair, but the reality is much more dynamic. When working with newborns, the schedule revolves entirely around the baby. We pause for feeds, soothing, and cuddles, making sure the environment stays warm and calm. For older siblings and toddlers, my bag of tricks includes everything from nursery rhymes to funny faces to ensure genuine smiles rather than forced expressions.
My Girgaon studio is built for this flexibility. We have the space to move, change outfits, and let children settle into the rhythm of the shoot. You might see a pile of props or a half-finished snack break in the background, but those are exactly the moments that lead to the authentic photos you see in my gallery.
If you are planning an outdoor session, the approach shifts to managing natural light and location logistics. My goal is to keep the energy light so that you and your family can focus on each other while I handle the framing and technical details. You do not need to worry about being perfect; my job is to find the beauty in the chaos.
