- Setups: 2 distinct changes (Themed conceptual and Fruit/Floral)
- Wardrobe: Access to studio closet for baby (rompers, dresses, costumes)
- Props: Miniature armchairs, crates, rugs, signage
Deliverables
- Images: 10 to 12 high-resolution retouched JPEGs
- Editing: Color correction and skin smoothing

First Birthday Cake Smash
Session Specifics
- Duration: 90 to 120 Minutes
- Sequence: Clean portraits, Cake Smash, Bubble Bath (cleanup shots)

- Setups: 2 elaborate setups (Formal Portrait and Smash Theme)
- Cake: Fresh 500g to 1kg soft-cream smash cake included (eggless)
- Wardrobe: 2 outfit changes provided by studio (Tuxedos, Gowns, etc.)
- Props: Helium balloons, wooden ONE letters, themed cutouts

Why I Do What I Do
I’m all about catching those blink-and-you-miss-it moments with your little one. Whether it’s the first time they sit up or that wild cake smash, I want you to have photos that actually feel like your family - messy, happy, and real.
Milestones I Love to Capture
- Halfway to One: Six months is when the personality starts popping! I’ll get those sitting-up poses, crawling attempts, and goofy faces.
- First Birthday: Big ONE energy! We can do a classic cake smash photography, donut smash, or any theme you want. It’s about fun, mess, and memories.
- Toddler Adventures: Turning two and beyond means more attitude and curiosity. I’ve done biker themes, garden painter setups, and loads more.
Themes & Setups
I’ve got props, backdrops, and ideas for days. Some favourites:
- Sweet & Messy: Cake smash, donut smash, watermelon smash, baby chef.
- Fantasy & Adventure: Boss Baby, Harry Potter, jungle, princess diaries.
- Styled & Dreamy: Boho adventures, lavender dreams, sunflowers, minimalist colour themes, memory wall with your own photos.
Studio or Outdoors?
Most themed milestone portraits happen in my studio, where I can control the setup. If you want a natural vibe, we can do an outdoor baby photoshoot in Mumbai’s parks or beaches.
Family Moments
Parents and siblings are always welcome in the frame. I mix posed shots with candid toddler photography, so you get both the perfect portrait and the real giggles. Custom touches like letter boards? Totally doable.

Hey, I’m Himakshi - Squint and Smile is just me with my camera, chasing real moments.
