My Approach to Portraits

I do not believe in rigid, uncomfortable posing. Instead, I use guided prompts that allow you to relax and interact naturally. Whether it is a soft look at the camera or a candid laugh while walking, the goal is to show the person you are when no one else is watching. For these sessions, I often use a prime 85mm lens, which gives that soft, dreamy background blur, keeping the focus entirely on your expressions.

Capturing the Details

Wedding days are filled with small, beautiful things—the intricate embroidery on a lehenga, the way the sunlight hits the jewellery, or the nervous smile before the walk down the aisle. I treat these details with the same importance as the main ceremony.

Planning Your Shoot

If you want these kinds of frames, we can carve out 20 to 30 minutes of dedicated portrait time during your event. I recommend planning this during the golden hour, just before the sun sets, when the natural light in Mumbai is soft and flattering. This window is often the most magical part of the day for photography. Even if the venue is busy or the schedule feels tight, we will find a quiet corner to document your love as it truly is.
